Liga F Moeve achieves the best television start in its history
The first matchday of the 2026/27 LigaF Moeve season reached an audience of over 450,000 viewers, the competition's best historical record for an opening matchday.
The Spanish teams already know their path in Europe
FC Barcelona, as the Liga F Moeve champion, and Real Madrid CF, after winning 4-1 on aggregate against Ajax in the tie, will be in the Champions League group stage and already know their opponents. Real Sociedad will face Hearts over two legs in the second qualifying round of the Europa Cup.
Volkswagen's challenge: four stadiums on a single charge
A Volkswagen car completed a single charge journey visiting the four stadiums of Liga F's Basque teams Moeve: Zubieta, Ipurua, Lezama, and Mendizorroza during the opening matchday weekend. Furthermore, a remote-controlled car delivered the ball to the centre circle at the babazorro club's stadium.

On Saturday, September 5th, the second matchday of Liga F Moeve will kick off with two games at 12:00h: the Catalan derby between RCD Espanyol and FC Badalona Women, and Valencia CF vs. Madrid CFF. Meanwhile, at 20:30h, Sevilla FC vs. FC Barcelona will be played to conclude Saturday's fixtures.

The second Matchday of LigaF Moeve will feature four free-to-air matches, which will be broadcast on Teledeporte, RTVE Play, TV3, and 3Cat. The Catalan derby between RCD Espanyol and FC Badalona Women, to be played on Saturday, September 5th at 12:00, will be one of the most attractive clashes of the weekend.

On the opening matchday of the championship, 24 goals were scored.
