Before the start of the match, Atlético de Madrid honoured Celia Segura and Natalia Peñalvo as U20 World Champions. Both teams took to the pitch in Alcalá with the aim of securing all three points. Emilie Holt showed some initiative for the visiting team. Meanwhile, Celia Segura, who was the MVP of the match, put on an attacking masterclass. The forward threaded a pass for Gio Queiroz, which Paola Ulloa saved with a superb low stop. The first goal of the match arrived in the seventeenth minute. Fiamma stole the ball and passed it to Celia Segura, who was denied by Paola Ulloa. The rebound fell to Jensen, who broke the deadlock. Just two minutes later, an inspired Celia Segura scored the second goal of the clash to extend their lead.

A blow for Madrid CFF. The hosts continued their dominance, and Maite Zubieta came close to scoring with a shot that went wide. David González's side were an unstoppable force, with a stellar Celia Segura. The winger managed to score after picking up a rebound inside the box, but the goal was disallowed for offside. In the 35th minute, the forward earned a penalty after a foul on Romane Lejeune. Fiamma Benítez stepped up to take the spot-kick, beating Paola Ulloa to make it the third goal of the match. To conclude the first half, Celia Segura once again orchestrated a magnificent move that Jensen finished to make it 4-0 at the end of the first forty-five minutes, effectively sealing the derby.

After the restart, both coaches made changes. Henrietta Csiszár came on for the rojiblanco side, while Hasnath Ubamba, Mariana Silva, who made her debut for Madrid CFF, and Alba Ruiz entered the field of play. The second half maintained the same rhythm as the first, with Atlético de Madrid dominating the match. Meanwhile, the home team showed some attacking intent through Emilie Nautnes, who tried to reduce the deficit. Half an hour into the second half, Luany replaced Celia Segura, who left the pitch to a standing ovation from the colchonera faithful. Sánchez Vera's side pressed the rojiblancas' build-up play, but without finding the goal that would get them back into the game.

Both coaches made further changes. Jenni Hermoso and Gabi Nunes came on for the home side, while Mônica Hickmann and Sofía Hernández entered the pitch for Madrid CFF. With nine minutes remaining, Lola Gallardo was sent off with a straight red card for a handball outside the box against Emilie Nautnes. Rosa Otermín took over in goal. The full-back then saved a direct free-kick from Ana González. And, a few minutes later, the improvised goalkeeper saved a one-on-one from Hasnath Ubamba to ultimately seal Atlético de Madrid's victory, a win that puts them in 5th position in the Liga F Moeve standings with 12 points, just one behind their rival. David González's side are starting to close in on the European spots.
