LOVE FOR THE COLORS
‘Love for the Colors’, Liga F’s campaign against LGTBfobia in sports. To mark International Day Against LGTBfobia in Sports, which will be observed this coming Wednesday, February 19th, Liga F is relaunching its ‘Amor Por Los Colores’ (Love for the Colors) campaign in favor of social inclusion, respect, and diversity. Players, coaching staffs, and fans will wear rainbow-flag laces during matches for Matchdays 20 and 21 of the competition.
Homophobia has been and remains a present reality in sports and society at large, limiting fundamental rights and creating situations of rejection, discrimination, and even violence toward LGBTIQ+ individuals. For this reason, Liga F reaffirms its commitment to visibility, equality, and the eradication of all forms of intolerance, using football as a tool for social transformation.
We invite you to lace up tight and celebrate with us the love for our colours.
Because together we will create a lace that can tie together something much greater.
Because with every step we take, we grow in tolerance and respect.
WE LACE UP. WE LOVE. WE WIN.
Join us in the #AMORPORLOSCOLORES campaign.
