The spotlight on Matchday 7 of Liga F Moeve was very much on the pitch, but also on the various initiatives held ahead of kick-off to mark World Breast Cancer Day, celebrated on 19 October. Clubs carried out a series of actions to raise awareness of the disease and support women battling it. Both the men's and women's first teams of SD Eibar played their respective fixtures in a special kit. A pink strip with a singular purpose: to raise funds and visibility for the fight of affected women. Meanwhile, Sevilla FC players posed for their starting XI photo wearing pink shirts featuring 'Nunca Te Rindas' (Never Give Up), the club's official motto.

The Estadio de Las Gaunas was also bathed in pink. The ceremonial kick-off was taken by Belinda Sampedro, a psycho-oncologist with the Spanish Association Against Cancer in La Rioja, alongside Naiara Peña and Carmen Pascual, both breast cancer survivors. The trio were accompanied by Javier Ruffini, president of the organisation. Furthermore, the entire Logroño United squad posed before kick-off wearing pink ribbons to continue raising awareness of the fight against the disease, while the players wore pink armbands on the pitch. Finally, the Alfredo Di Stéfano stadium also featured pink corner flags and an archway bearing the 'Reflejo de un compromiso' (Reflection of a Commitment) campaign, run by Solán de Cabras and the Spanish Association Against Cancer.

In addition, during training this Monday, the Deportivo Alavés squad received a very special visit from members of the Álava Association of Women with Breast and Gynaecological Cancer. Players and women working with the association posed together for a photograph that helps raise awareness of the importance of early detection and diagnosis in improving survival rates. The rest of the Liga F Moeve clubs also joined in by turning their social media corporate branding pink, lighting up San Mamés in pink, or sharing messages on social channels to send all their love and support to women fighting breast cancer every day.
