Both teams closed Matchday 28 of Liga F Moeve looking to rediscover victory and break their poor runs of form. Sevilla FC tried to find Fatou Kanteh, but twenty-five minutes into the game, Natasa Andonova sent a cross into the box which Mônica Hickmann headed home to open the scoring at the Fernando Torres. The response came precisely from the Gambian international, who unleashed a thunderous shot from the edge of the area. The ball struck the woodwork directly, much to the relief of Paola Ulloa, who watched as the ball bounced and went wide. The home goalkeeper remained very alert to claim the rebound. David Losada's problems mounted before the break. The visiting coach had to withdraw Débora García due to injury, and Alba López came on in her place to occupy the right flank for the Seville side.
After the restart, a triple substitution occurred at the Seville club. Gemma Gili, Iris Arnaiz, and Andrea Álvarez entered the pitch in search of an equaliser. Once again, Fatou Kanteh was the protagonist at the start of the second half. The winger cut inside the area and delivered a cross that Andrea Álvarez ended up finishing, but Freja Siri blocked the forward's shot. The Swedish player had a magnificent game at centre-back and was named MVP of the duel thanks to her solidity at the back. For their part, Sánchez Vera also moved the bench with the introduction of youngsters Claudia García, Nerea Sánchez, and Marina Rivas. It was precisely the latter two who were responsible for creating the second goal of the match. The midfielder from Cádiz threaded a pass to her teammate, and the Chilean did not hesitate to drive forward and beat Sullastres low.
With the Madrid side holding a two-goal lead, Sánchez Vera brought on Ana Coya for her first minutes in Liga F Moeve. The visitors continued to try their luck with the introduction of Alba Cerrato, but it was Xenia Barrios who looked to get past Estefanía González, who was already on a yellow card. The centre-back ended up fouling the Seville forward, and received a second yellow card to be sent off before time. Sevilla FC could have reduced the deficit with a shot from Gemma Gili that went wide of the post, while, at the other end, Marina Rivas came close to scoring a third, but the shot from the player from Cádiz went just wide of the rival goal. The last chance of the game fell to Alba Cerrato, but Paola Ulloa saved the ball with a great intervention to keep a clean sheet.
