The Nordic connection gives Madrid CFF victory

The Madrid-based side beat Alhama CF ElPozo (5-0) with braces from Kamilla Melgard, who was the MVP of the match, and Emilie Nautnes, and another goal from Allegra Poljak. A goal-scoring recital from Madrid CFF at the Fernando Torres saw them return to winning ways in LigaF Moeve, reclaiming 7th position with 30 points. Following the presentation of personalised trading cards for the 'Love For The Colours' campaign by both captains, the Madrid side took just eight minutes to break the deadlock. A cross from the wing by Kamilla Melgard was slightly touched by Emilie Nautnes from the penalty spot, and Allegra Poljak did not hesitate, sending the ball into the back of the net at the far post. The home side were a genuine whirlwind, and just three minutes later, Hildur Antonsdottir threaded a ball in behind the defence. The ball fell to Kamilla Melgard. The MVP of the match overcame Sol's rush to extend the lead on the scoreboard. And, in the fifteenth minute of play, Sánchez Vera's team scored the third.

A long ball from Alba Ruiz was collected by Emilie Nautnes, who dribbled past the visiting goalkeeper to join the Madrid team's party, setting the tone for the encounter. Alhama CF ElPozo attempted to react with a shot from Yiyi that Paola Ulloa saved without much trouble. Mari Jose also tried to create danger, although the last chance of the first half fell to Astrid Álvarez, but her shot went over the crossbar. After the break, Marina Rivas came on for the Madrid side, while Patricia Zapata and Vega also featured for the visitors. In the second half, the Murcian side tried to push forward and reduce the deficit via set-pieces. Randri García's team even appealed for a potential penalty, which the referee did not award.

The home side had the match under control, and academy player Zaira Gallardo made her debut for the Madrid first team. Half an hour into the game, and with the Murcian side committed to attack, Alba Ruiz won the ball back and found Kamilla Melgard in behind the defence. The Norwegian forward did not fail against Sol to score the fourth goal of the match. Just four minutes later, Kamilla Melgard again delivered a cross to the penalty spot, which Emilie Nautnes headed into the net to complete the rout on the scoreboard. The goal finished doing damage to the visitors, who even conceded another goal from Kamilla Melgard, but the referee disallowed it for offside. The crossbar also saved another goal from Melgard. Randri García's team, who have not won in LigaF Moeve since October 5th, remain on 9 points.
