Both teams approached the Madrid derby with the intention of securing the three points. The *rojiblancas* players took to the pitch wearing shirts supporting Silvia Lloris, who suffered an ACL injury. Gio Queiroz, who already featured in the Champions League fixture, made her starting debut after overcoming her own injury. The first major chance of the match fell to Madrid CFF. Alba Ruiz attempted a cross-shot that struck the crossbar, much to the relief of the *colchonero* side. Emilie Nautnes also tried her luck with a tame shot that Lola Gallardo gathered. For their part, Kathrine Møller Kühl tested the keeper with a shot that went wide. An electric Alba Ruiz also tried her luck, but her effort also failed to find the target. Around the half-hour mark, the *rojiblancas* pushed for a goal with two successive shots.

First, Amaiur looked for the goal with a shot from inside the box, which forced Paola Ulloa into a good save. The Madrid team's goalkeeper also stopped a long-range effort from Rosa Otermín. The last big chance of the first half fell to Esther Laborde, but Lola Gallardo held onto the ball to keep the score at 0-0 at the break. After returning from the dressing rooms, Júlia Bartel entered the pitch to add more presence in the midfield. Amaiur came close to scoring with a header, but Paola Ulloa produced a magnificent save to tip the ball behind for a corner. The *rojiblanco* forward repeated the threat a few minutes later, but the ball went wide. The clearest opportunity arrived in the 65th minute, featuring a triple chance for the *rojiblanco* side.

A long ball over the top of the defence reached Amaiur, who was met by the response of Paola Ulloa, who was the MVP of the encounter. The rebound fell to Jensen, but the keeper saved the shot with a spectacular stop. Sandra Villafañe, on the goal line, cleared the overhead kick off the line. Sheila Guijarro was introduced for the home side to increase attacking presence, while Bárbara López also saw minutes in the final stretch to try and find the breakthrough goal. The last major chance of the match fell to Synne Jensen. The forward tried her luck with a shot from the edge of the area, but the ball sailed over the crossbar. With this draw, Atlético de Madrid remains in 6th position in Liga F Moeve with 32 points, twelve points adrift of the Champions League spots, while Madrid CFF sits in 8th place with 27 points.
