LigaF awards audiovisual rights to DAZN, TVE, and TV3 with a focus on free-to-air as the core of its strategy
The LigaF Audiovisual Rights Control Body, after analysing the new offers received in the second round provided for in the Procedure Rules, has decided to award the audiovisual rights for the competition in Spain and Andorra for the next three seasons to DAZN, which will offer all eight matches of each matchday on a pay-per-view basis, and to TVE and TV3, which will offer four matches of each matchday on free-to-air television, allowing half of the competition's games to be watched for free each weekend.

An audiovisual model for growth in visibility and value
This audiovisual model responds to the strategy launched by LigaF clubs last January: to maximise visibility and audience growth, combining free-to-air broadcasts and paid offerings as two complementary avenues. In the 25/26 season, the competition reached a cumulative audience of 7.5 million viewers, an increase of 11.2% compared to the previous season and 127% since LigaF's creation in the 22/23 campaign.
LigaF's audiovisual landscape maintains its priority commitment to free-to-air broadcasting as a fundamental tool to build future value, reach the largest number of households, and multiply the exposure of clubs, their players, and sponsors, fostering a virtuous circle between audience, notoriety, and sporting and commercial value.
International Commercialisation by Markets
Regarding audiovisual rights in the European Union and the rest of the world, the Control Body has decided not to award the packages on the global terms initially proposed and to directly address their commercialisation in different markets due to the interest received during the process from operators in various countries and geographical areas. This strategy will allow LigaF's distribution to be adapted to the characteristics and opportunities of each market, expand its international presence, and continue to make visibility and audience growth the foundation for building the competition's future value.
LigaF wishes to thank DAZN, TVE, and TV3 for their commitment and trust in the project, as well as acknowledging the interest and participation of the other operators who took part in the process in both rounds.
