LigaF accelerates its audience growth following the launch of the new free-to-air broadcast model

LigaF continues to consolidate its audiovisual growth following the implementation of the new agreement for the free-to-air broadcast of matches on RTVE and TV3, which came into effect starting from Matchday 19 of the current season, and which has brought about a considerable and progressive increase in viewership with every matchday.

After three Matchdays under the new operating model and a total of 12 matches broadcast free-to-air, the competition has significantly reinforced its visibility and accelerated its growth in viewership. Since the activation of this agreement, the recorded growth rate demonstrates the effectiveness of opting for free-to-air television as a key tool to strengthen the audiovisual product, increase media reach, and consolidate Liga F's positioning within the national sporting landscape. The match between Granada CF and FC Barcelona registered an average audience of 289,000 viewers in its free-to-air broadcast and reached a total of 1,012,447 unique users across its free-to-air broadcasts, alongside DAZN and Movistar. The clash also brought together 5,100 fans who attended the stands at the Los Cármenes stadium.

The new audiovisual landscape not only broadens the exposure for the clubs and players but also reinforces the competition's expansion and consolidation process, aligning with a roadmap aimed at generating greater social impact, attracting new audiences, and advancing towards a sustainable and continuously growing model.

Liga F maintains its commitment to continue working alongside audiovisual operators to further boost visibility, improve the spectator experience, and consolidate women's football as an increasingly present benchmark in Spanish households.
