FC Barcelona defeated Olympique Lyonnes 4-0 to secure their fourth Champions League title in their history. Ewa Pajor and Salma Paralluelo scored the goals for the Blaugrana, who conquered Oslo with Cata Coll delivering a great performance. This marks the Blaugrana's second quadruple of titles.

The two best teams in the world tested their strength in the Champions League final. Oslo's Ullevaal Stadion provided the luxurious setting. The first chance of the match arrived ten minutes in. Graham Hansen, playing at home, used her pace to get away and laid a pass back for Alexia. The double Ballon d'Or winner's shot went just wide of the opposition post. The French side reacted quickly. Bacha whipped in a free-kick from three-quarters out, Renard met it with full force, and Cata's hand appeared to push the ball to Hearps, who did manage to find the net. VAR checked for offside against the American and disallowed the goal. Hegerberg and then Brand for Olympique Lyonnais went close, while Ewa Pajor, after another move from Alexia, also failed to hit the target. Neither side could find a breakthrough.

Just before half-time, Cata Coll had to be alert again with another superb save from Bacha's direct free-kick, which was heading for goal. The Barça goalkeeper kept the scores level at the end of the first forty-five minutes. In the second half, FC Barcelona came out with more intent, looking to press high and create danger in attack. In the 55th minute, Patri Guijarro won the ball and threaded it through to Ewa Pajor, who beat Engen to make it 1-0. Olympique Lyonnais responded with an attack from Brand, and another from Becho, following a backheel from Yohannes, which Cata saved brilliantly. In the 70th minute, Pina reached the byline and crossed, the ball deflected off a French player, and reached Salma, who looked up and found Pajor completely unmarked in the six-yard box. The Polish striker, who scored a brace, banished her demons to double the lead.

The French side grew increasingly frustrated in attack. Nevertheless, Chawinga could have brought some excitement to the final had it not been for Cata Coll once again, who made a crucial one-on-one save to keep a clean sheet and seal her team's victory in the match. In added time, a stellar Salma Paralluelo appeared to score a brace and join the Barça celebration. The forward from Aragon needed to prove herself and, in front of the world's eyes, she left her mark once more. First with a spectacular strike from the edge of the box, and then by finishing off a magnificent transition to put the icing on the cake and give FC Barcelona their fourth Champions League title and their second quadruple of trophies in their history. A season to remember, which ends on a high note.
