Before the start of the match, the players of the Tenerife team came onto the pitch with dogs in a solidarity action. Meanwhile, Natalia Ramos collected the Player of the Month award for April, and María Estella was honoured for her great career with the Canarian side. A minute into the match, Paulina Gramaglia won a ball inside the box and sent it into the back of the net to score the first goal of the match. The referee, after an FVS review, ended up disallowing the striker's goal due to a prior foul by Yerliane Moreno. A few minutes later, Koko Ange had the chance to score the first goal of the clash, but Yohana Gómez made herself big to clear the Ivorian attacker's shot. After half an hour of play, Paulina Gramaglia found the net again, but, once more, the referee disallowed the goal. Just before half-time, Yohana Gómez made herself big to prevent another goal from the Tenerife side.
A cross to the far post from Aleksandra Zaremba was headed in by Koko Ange at the far post, but the attacker's shot was saved by the Deportivo Abanca goalkeeper. With the score tied at 0-0, the match went into half-time. As soon as the second forty-five minutes kicked off, Violeta Quiles broke away with pace and delivered a pass inside the box for Koko Ange. The Ivorian, who was the MVP of the match, sent the ball into the back of the net to break the deadlock at Heliodoro Rodríguez López. Around the half-hour mark, Marina Artero fouled Paulina Gramaglia inside the box. Yerai Martín requested an FVS review and the referee ended up awarding the penalty. The Argentine forward was tasked with taking the spot-kick, taking responsibility from the penalty spot and not failing to deceive Yohana Gómez, and this time, her goal stood.
After the goal, Fran Alonso made changes from the bench with the introduction of Millene Cabral, Paula Novo, and Merle Barth. Deportivo Abanca had their chance with a long-range shot from Bárbara Latorre. The ball crashed against the crossbar before going completely wide, to the relief of Nay Cáceres, who watched as the ball went off target. The visitors also continued to try through Millene herself, but without luck. Meanwhile, Jenni López made her Liga F Moeve debut for the Tenerife side, and María Estella played her first minutes this season for the Canarian team. At the end of the match, the full-back received her well-deserved tribute from her teammates for a great career. Yerai Martín's side close the 2025/2026 season in the best possible way, with a 4th place finish with 54 points. Deportivo Abanca also manage to stay in the division with 31 points in their tally.
