“It’s going to be a match with our fans, and that will help us get this match, which will be tough, over the line. We have to give 100%,” stated Yerliane Moreno in the pre-match press conference. The midfielder returned to the pitch last weekend in the Tenerife team's 3-2 defeat against Real Madrid CF. Despite that loss, Costa Adeje Tenerife, who are the fifth most in-form team over the last five matchdays, sit in 8th position in Liga F Moeve with 11 points from three wins, two draws, and three defeats. Yerai Martín welcomes back Patri Gavira and Henar Muiña after serving suspensions, while Pisco, Alba Pérez, Aithiara Carballo, Bárbara Martínez 'Pola', Marina Martí, Érika González, and Iratxe Pérez are all unavailable.
For their part, Athletic Club are enjoying a magnificent start to the season. The Basque team is currently 4th in the standings with 15 points, level with Atlético de Madrid, who occupy third place. Víctor Martín's side have secured four wins, three draws, and just one defeat in the first eight matchdays, managing to keep clean sheets on three occasions. Furthermore, with only 8 goals conceded, the Bilbao outfit is the second team to have let in the fewest goals this season, trailing only FC Barcelona, who have conceded just four. Centre-back Bibiane Schulze, and midfielders Leire Baños, who is recovering from an ACL injury, and Irene Oguiza, will be the three absentees for the Lions as they prepare for an exciting clash at the Heliodoro.
