Before the match began, players from both clubs observed a minute's silence for the tragic accident in Urda (Toledo). The first chance fell to Hasnath Ubamba, but Antía Veiga, making her Liga F Moeve debut, gathered the ball. Twelve minutes in, Sakina Ouzraoui conjured a shot from the edge of the box that the visiting goalkeeper gathered at the second attempt. Deportivo Femenino's response was a shot from Ainoa Gómez that the opposition defence blocked. The midfielder had a clear opportunity with a powerful strike that Paola Ulloa saved with a diving effort. Marisa also came close to scoring with a header, and Antía Veiga once again denied Sakina Ouzraoui with a solid low save.
The goalkeeper made another superb save from Hasnast Ubamba, who was the Player of the Match, although the play was eventually ruled out for offside. On the half-hour mark, the first goal of the match arrived. A cross from Olaya Rodríguez was struck first-time by Marisa, sending the ball into the back of the net. Lucía Rivas came close to a second with a shot that went too high. The winger tried again, but Kate Taylor dealt with the danger decisively. Ana González created danger with a free-kick delivery, but the ball went straight into the hands of Deportivo Femenino's goalkeeper, who collected it. Despite Madrid CFF's late attempts to find an equaliser, the Galician club went into half-time with a 0-1 lead on the scoreboard.

Sánchez Vera's side took just two minutes of the second half to level the match. A great move by Hasnath Ubamba ended in a cross that Elena Vázquez headed against the post. The rebound fell to Emilie Holt, who made no mistake to level the score. At the other end, Marisa appealed for a penalty that the referee did not award. Furthermore, Lucía Pardo came close to connecting with a long ball, while Hasnath Ubamba, on the counter-attack, once again tested the Galician side's goalkeeper. Antía Veiga, who made seven saves throughout the match, was also very alert to collect a clearance from Daniela Caracas, who came close to putting the ball into her own net. The match was finely balanced.
From outside the box, Ainoa Gómez came close to catching Paola Ulloa out. Both teams continued to make substitutions. Paula Monteagudo and Michi Apóstol came on for the visitors, while Mônica Hickmann and Mariana Silva entered the field of play for Madrid CFF. Indeed, the Colombian forward took just four minutes to pounce on a rebound from Deportivo Femenino's goalkeeper following a Sakina Ouzraoui shot, making it 2-1 on the scoreboard. The last chance of the match fell to Michi Apóstol, but Paola Ulloa showed quick reflexes to tip the ball behind for a corner. From that corner, Ana González cleared the danger to secure a victory that places the Madrid-based team in third position in the league competition.
