La Roja has announced its squad for the two upcoming matches for the Spanish national team, both of which are qualifiers for the 2027 World Cup. Head coach Sonia Bermúdez announced the list, which features the return of Cata Coll in goal, Irene Paredes and Mapi León in the heart of the defence, and Esther González up front. The major new addition is midfielder Clara Pinedo. The Athletic Club player is a key figure in the attacking midfield for the 'leonas' and received her call-up to the senior side during training.
