The Catalan side came out determined to take control of the match, dominating possession in the opposition half. Granada, well-organised at the back, managed to contain the attacks of a FC Barcelona Femení side searching for spaces to create danger. The visitors also looked to utilise their counter-attacking opportunities to trouble the Barça defence.
After the restart, FC Barcelona Femení stepped up the pressure and found the breakthrough just past the hour mark. In the 67th minute, Esmee Brugts opened the scoring with a left-footed shot following an assist from Ewa Pajor, putting the hosts ahead.
The goal brought greater breathing space for the Catalan side, who struck again just five minutes later. In the 72nd minute, Caroline Graham Hansen doubled the advantage after receiving an assist from Patri Guijarro to make it 2-0.
Granada refused to throw in the towel and continued to compete until the final stages, but FC Barcelona Femení ultimately wrapped up the match. In the 90th minute, a header from Teresa—which ended up going into her own net—sealed a final scoreline of 3-0.
