FC Badalona Women started better, with a cross from Paula Sánchez that found no one to finish, but it was Carlota Suárez who, four minutes into the game, finished off a powerful low cross from Aleksandra Zaremba to open the scoring. Marc Ballester's side tried to redeem themselves and find an equaliser, but the Tenerife defence held firm at the back, leaving hardly any space in defence. Twenty minutes into the game, a corner from Annahita Zamaninan was headed in by Carlota Suárez to score her second of the match. The striker was the MVP of the clash. Problems piled up for the Catalan club with the injury to Lauri Requena, and Lorena Navarro had to come on in her place.
Just past the half-hour mark, the third goal of the match arrived. A great delivery from Violeta Quiles from the wing was finished off by Iratxe Pérez from inside the area. The forward, who scored for the second consecutive matchday, got ahead of the opposing defence to send the ball directly into the back of the net. Furthermore, the striker dedicated the goal to Bárbara Martínez 'Pola', who suffered a cruciate ligament injury. Another blow to the Catalan team's aspirations, who tried to reduce the deficit with a shot from Elena Julve that went over the crossbar. Marc Ballester's side continued to try before half-time, and the last chance fell to Sheila Guijarro, but her shot hit the opposing defence directly.

Both coaches kept the same players on the pitch for the second half. Irina Uribe had the first chance with a cross-shot that Noelia Ramos comfortably saved, gathering the ball to prevent any danger. Although it was Elba Vergés who extinguished any glimmer of hope for the home side. Another corner from Annahita Zamanian was flicked on by Cinta Rodríguez, and Elba Vergés sent the ball into the back of the net to make it 0-4. The first substitutions soon followed. Natalia Padilla came on for the visiting side, while Nerea Carmona and Mirari Uria entered the field for the Catalans, who could have reduced the deficit, but Noelia Ramos saved the goal.
FC Badalona Women continued to try through Sheila Guijarro, although without luck in front of the opposition goal. In the 72nd minute, Patri Gavira was sent off for a second yellow card. The centre-back committed a foul on Elena Julve and received her second booking. With an extra player, the Catalan team pushed forward, and Hendriks had a shot that Noelia Ramos saved comfortably. The Tenerife side were also reduced to 9 players when Henar Muiña was shown a straight red card for a foul on Sheila Guijarro, who was clear through on goal. The woodwork denied María Llompart from a free-kick, and the home side were unable to score in the match.
