Sunday, October 18th, 12:00h Deportivo Alavés - Sevilla FC on DAZN

“It’s going to be a match where we have things very clear. We know our weaknesses and strengths. We have to control Sevilla’s attacking threat,” stated Andrea Esteban in the pre-match press conference. Deportivo Alavés arrives at this fixture in 13th position in Liga F Moeve with 6 points, following three consecutive defeats, all without scoring. Amaya García, a recent U20 World Cup champion, will be honoured, while Celia Ochoa and Sarah Brasero will be absent for the Basque side, who welcome back Kumba Brima after a one-match suspension. Facing them will be Sevilla FC, who occupy 10th position with 7 points, but are on a two-match winless streak. However, it's worth noting that both of the Andalusian team's victories this season have come away from home. David Losada will be without Eva Llamas and Laura Pérez, both injured, for the match against the Vitoria-Gasteiz based club.

Sunday, October 18th, 12:00h Real Sociedad - FC Barcelona on DAZN

Meanwhile, at Zubieta, Real Sociedad will be looking for their second victory of the season. Laia Aleixandri, who is recovering from an ACL injury, Kika Nazareth, and Vicky López will be the three absentees for the Blaugrana, who will be aiming to continue their strong momentum. The Basque team already knows what it's like to beat the Blaugrana. A penalty goal from Edna Imade decided the first-leg match last season. In the return leg, the Catalan side took revenge, winning 2-1 in Barcelona.

Furthermore, the Armeros, who are supporting breast cancer awareness, have kept 5 clean sheets, and Anna Wellmann has made 25 saves this season, the most in the league. Iñaki Goiketxea will only be without Sara Martín, the forward who was sent off in the last match. Meanwhile, Deportivo Abanca is in 14th place with 5 points, having secured only one victory in the first six fixtures, and are on a two-match winless run. Although the Galician team's only win this year has come away from home.
