A clash between two teams that had won their opening LigaF Moeve match. Pau Quesada's side controlled possession, while the Armero outfit remained solid defensively, leaving hardly any space. Lakrar had the first chance from a set-piece, but the centre-back's header went wide. Lotte Keukelaar also tried her luck with a cross into the box that the visiting defence cleared. The forward attempted a centre to the penalty spot that Anna Wellmann collected with ease. At the other end, Sara Martín sought a goal by trying to get past the white defence, but without success. The clearest chance of the first half arrived past the half-hour mark. Linda Caicedo produced a brilliant individual play, took on her marker, and unleashed a powerful shot towards the far post, where she was met by the formidable response of Anna Wellmann, who saved the Colombian's effort with her fingertips.

The Madrid club pushed towards the end of the first half, but despite Eva Navarro's final attempt, which she tried with a high shot, the score remained unchanged at the end of the first forty-five minutes. Carmen Álvarez replaced Ángeles del Álamo at half-time, the only change. Both teams came out looking for a goal at the start of the second half. Beerensteyn tried a shot from inside the area, but Alimata Bélem providentialy cut out the action. Real Madrid CF had another very clear chance through Keukelaar, but Wellmann saved the goal with her foot. For their part, Alimata Bélem was again involved with a header that went high. Past the hour mark, the visiting goalkeeper once again showed her quality by parrying a deflected ball from Mireia Masegur. The keeper also held onto a good cross from Keukelaar from the edge of the box.

The minutes ticked by, and Real Madrid CF still couldn't find the net. Linda Caicedo tried again from the edge of the box, but the visiting goalkeeper held onto the ball. With fifteen minutes left, Noelia Llamas and Yasmine Zouhir came on for the Madrid side, while Carla Andrés and Thirsa de Meester were the changes for the Basque team, who continued to hold onto the draw. Linda Caicedo appealed for a potential penalty after a push from Samara Ortiz inside the area. The home side pushed for the goal, and after a corner, Simona Botero, in a providential intervention, managed to prevent the white team's goal from going in, clearing it off the line. The last chance of the match fell to Angeldahl, but Anna Wellmann made a providential save to deny the midfielder's shot, securing a valuable point for her team. The German goalkeeper, who made eight saves, was the MVP of the match.
