It was Lauri Requena's day, as she bid farewell to Granada after a lifetime with the club, but the true protagonist of the duel was Anita Marcos, who had even started the match on the bench. The first chance of the match fell to Andrea Gómez, but the forward's shot was kept out by Paola Ulloa, who made a great save with her foot to prevent the goal. Irene Ferreras' side kept pushing in the first half, and in the 39th minute, Andrea Gómez flicked a ball on with her head, and it fell to Sonya Keefe, who managed to beat the Madrid side's goalkeeper to open the scoring. The Chilean forward looked for a second with a powerful strike from inside the box, but once again, the Madrid CFF goalkeeper denied the goal with a fine save. The ball went out for a corner, and from that set-piece, Clara Rodríguez delivered a cross that Sonya Keefe headed into the back of the net.
The hosts headed into the break with a two-goal lead. After the restart, Sánchez Vera made a triple substitution, bringing on Anita Marcos, Bárbara López, and Natasa Andonova. Just two minutes into the second half, Leles Carrión played a ball into the box, and Jujuba Cardozo touched the ball, which hit the crossbar before going in. The Granada side scored their third goal of the match to extend their lead, but Anita Marcos was determined to mount a comeback. In the 53rd minute, Natasa Andonova sent a cross into the box, which the forward finished to beat the opposing defence and narrow the deficit. After the hour mark, Andrea Gómez conceded a penalty for a foul on Hildur Antonsdóttir. Anita Marcos stepped up to take the spot-kick, scoring her brace.

The striker didn't take long to pounce on a ball at the back post and beat Laura Sánchez, who got a touch on the ball but couldn't prevent the goal for the Madrid side, who were in inspired form in attack. With five minutes remaining, Anita Marcos, who was named MVP of the match, completed her four-goal haul with a header from a pinpoint Melgard cross. The forward managed to turn a 3-0 deficit into a 3-4 lead with four historic goals. Cristina Postigo was sent off after receiving a second yellow card, and after the final whistle, Lauri Requena could not hold back the tears in her final home match with the Andalusian side. With this result, Madrid CFF keeps its hopes of finishing in the top 8 of the league table alive, with everything to play for on the final matchday. Meanwhile, despite the defeat, Granada CF sits in 6th place in the standings with 45 points.
