Valencia and Villarreal qualify for the final of the promotion playoff to Liga F Moeve

The black-and-white side won 4-3 against CD Alba Fundación Femenino after a 0-0 draw in the first leg. Meanwhile, Villarreal CF triumphed 3-1 against CA Osasuna in the second leg to secure their place in the Liga F promotion final with a 5-2 aggregate score over the tie.

Only two teams remain in contention to join Deportivo Alavés (2nd placed with 56 points) to play next season in Liga F Moeve. Valencia CF secured their place in the final on Sunday, May 17th at 12:00h after a 4-3 victory over CD Alba Fundación Femenino and a 0-0 draw in the first leg. The Blanquinegras are two matches away from returning to the top flight after being relegated last season. Meanwhile, Villarreal CF, who have been in Primera RFEF for two years, defeated CA Osasuna 3-1 on Sunday, May 17th at 20:00h after also winning 2-1 in the first leg. Both teams from the Valencian Community will battle for promotion in a two-legged final, with the return leg played at the *che* team's ground. In case of a draw, the matches will be decided in extra time, but not penalties, as the Blanquinegro side will be promoted due to finishing in a better position in the regular league season.

Valencia CF qualified for the Liga F Moeve promotion playoff final. In the twenty-third minute of play, a link-up between Tere Morató and Marina Martí resulted in a low cross that Danielle Marcano sent into the back of the net. A few minutes later, Marina Martí scored the second to extend the lead on the scoreboard. The third was scored by Marta Mascarell, with a cross-shot from inside the box. The visitors reacted with a goal from Laura Ortega to get right back into the match, and, just before half-time, Nazareth Martín was sent off. Right at the start of the second half, Yasmin Mrabet scored a brilliant goal to extend the Blanquinegras' lead, but CD Alba Fundación Femenino did not give up, and Laura Moreno brought the *Manchego* club back to life, scoring the final 4-3 with a penalty converted by Laura Ortega in the final stages of the match.

Meanwhile, the *groguet* side built on their 1-2 first-leg win with another victory in the return leg to reach the final. A match that started brightly after twenty minutes with a spectacular goal from Sara Medina from outside the box to surprise the visiting goalkeeper and break the deadlock. Just before half-time, María Macías capitalised on a great pass from ‘Lauris’ to send the ball into the back of the net with a powerful strike and further extend the lead in the tie. The home side had the chance to score a third, but it was Claudia Jiménez, who had already scored in the first leg, who received a good cross from Azpiazu and added spice to the final minutes of the match. CA Osasuna had a tough task, although the *Navarro* side believed in a comeback, but in the final minutes of play, Aixa Salvador sealed the match with a powerful right-footed shot to qualify Villarreal CF for the final.
