Different objectives, but the same need to secure all three points. SD Eibar and Costa Adeje Tenerife will face each other at Ipurua on Friday, April 3rd, at 12:00h in the opening match of the twenty-fifth Liga F Moeve matchday. Both teams arrive at the encounter in completely opposite positions. The home side is currently 13th in the standings with 17 points. Iñaki Goikoetxea's team is looking to rediscover victory in the domestic competition after suffering nine consecutive defeats. Despite their poor run, Eibar sits eight points above the relegation zone. All players from the Basque team are expected to be available, while Mireia Masegur will return to the squad after serving a suspension.

For their part, Costa Adeje Tenerife are in great form. The Tenerife team has secured three consecutive victories in the domestic competition in 2026, all without conceding a goal, making them the second-best defence in the league. Yerai Martín's side has only lost one match in this new year of Liga F Moeve. Their strong momentum has propelled the Canary Islands club to 4th position with 45 points, just six points behind third place, which secures a Champions League spot. María Estella, Pisco, Yerliane Moreno, and Paola Hernández, who were unavailable for the last match, will also miss the game against the home side. Meanwhile, academy player Bárbara Martínez will complete the squad and could feature in the starting XI.

Previous Encounters in the First Division

The two teams have met nine times in the top flight, with SD Eibar securing only two victories, three draws, and Costa Adeje Tenerife winning four. This season, the two sides already faced each other on matchday seven. In that duel, Eibar secured a victory at the Heliodoro with a 0-1 scoreline, thanks to a solitary goal from Carmen Álvarez in the closing stages of the match. This was the only league match the Tenerife team has lost this season at home, and one of their only three defeats in the domestic championship. Indeed, this was the only occasion the Basque side has taken all three points in the last seven encounters between Tenerife and Eibar.
