Both teams will close the twenty-third matchday of LigaF Moeve. Granada CF sits in 7th position in LigaF Moeve with 32 points. Irene Ferreras' side are having a magnificent 2026 with a record of six wins, one draw, and just one defeat, making them the fifth best team in the last ten matchdays. The Rojiblanco outfit comes into this after winning 0-4 against FC Badalona Women in their last encounter. Goalkeeper Chika Hirao, who has qualified for the Asia Cup final, and Linnéa Solvoll, who is injured, will be the only two absentees for the Andalusian team for this match. For their part, defender Alba Pérez will return to the squad after serving a one-match ban for accumulating yellow cards.

Their opponents will be Deportivo Abanca, who are looking to return to winning ways to all but secure their place in the First Division. The Galician team, who are coming off a 0-2 loss against FC Barcelona on the previous matchday, sit in 12th position in LigaF Moeve with 23 points, fourteen above the relegation places. Deportivo have won their last three away matches this season. A vital duel to close the matchday between two teams that know each other very well from facing off in both the top flight and Primera RFEF.

Previous Meetings in the First Division

Before meeting in LigaF Moeve, both teams had already faced each other in Primera RFEF, and it was precisely the Andalusian side that achieved promotion after defeating Deportivo Abanca in the final. The following year, the Galician team managed to climb to the top flight. In the First Division, the two teams have met on three occasions with a record of two wins for Granada CF and one victory for Fran Alonso's side. Last season, the Nazarí team won 5-0 in the first-leg match and 1-2 in the second-leg clash. This season, the Deportivo club won 2-0 at the Riazor stadium with a brace from Ainhoa Marín. The fourth encounter between them is now looking for a winner.
