Six players from four Liga F Moeve clubs will feature in the Africa Cup

Costa Adeje Tenerife players Koko Ange and Fatou Dembele will represent Ivory Coast and Mali, while Comfort Yeboah (Logroño United) will play for Ghana and Alimata Belem (SD Eibar) for Burkina Faso. Valencia players Rebecca Elloh and Yasmin Mrabet will feature for Ivory Coast and Morocco respectively.

The 2026 Women's Africa Cup of Nations, which will be played in Morocco from 25 July to 16 August, will feature six players from Liga F Moeve across four different clubs. Costa Adeje Tenerife will be represented by Koko Ange and Fatou Dembele, who will pull on the shirts of the Ivory Coast and Mali respectively. Meanwhile, Logroño United will have Comfort Yeboah representing Ghana, while SD Eibar player Alimata Belem will play for Burkina Faso. Valencia CF players Rebecca Elloh and Yasmin Mrabet will also feature at the African showpiece, representing the Ivory Coast and Morocco respectively. The quarter-finals will take place on 8–9 August, the semi-finals on 12 August, and the final on 16 August. The top four teams will qualify for the World Cup in Brazil, with a further two sides advancing to the play-offs. 

Double representation for Costa Adeje Tenerife

Costa Adeje Tenerife enjoyed a magnificent league campaign and will once again be represented at a major international tournament. Forward Koko Ange, who last season played 624 minutes across 17 Liga F Moeve matches, scoring 2 goals and providing 2 assists, will be looking to make her mark in the final third for the Ivory Coast. Drawn in Group B, the striker will face Burkina Faso (27 July), South Africa (31 July) and Tanzania (4 August) as she chases a place in the quarter-finals. Meanwhile, Fatou Dembele racked up 1,647 minutes across 21 Liga F Moeve appearances last term, scoring 1 goal. The centre-back will wear the colours of Mali in Group B, where she will go up against Cameroon (29 July), Cape Verde (2 August) and Ghana (6 August) in a bid to reach the knockout stages. 

Logroño United and SD Eibar to feature

Logroño United and SD Eibar will also have players at the tournament. The Rioja-based side will be represented by full-back Comfort Yeboah. The Ghanaian played 460 minutes across 9 Liga F Moeve matches last season. Her national team is in Group D, where she will square off against Cape Verde (29 July), Cameroon (2 August) and Mali (6 August) in pursuit of a ticket to the quarter-finals. The Basque club will be represented by Burkina Faso international midfielder Alimata Belem, who was her team's most-used player last season with 2,582 minutes across 29 appearances, and who will remain with the Eibar outfit until the winter transfer window. Drawn in Group B, she will face the Ivory Coast (27 July), Tanzania (31 July) and South Africa (4 August) as she looks to help her side progress to the next round. 

Two representatives from Valencia CF

Following their promotion to Liga F Moeve, Valencia CF will have two players at the Africa Cup of Nations. Forward Rebecca Elloh will play for the Ivory Coast. Last season she played 1,773 minutes across 26 matches in all competitions, chipping in with 1 goal. The African attacker is in Group B, where she will aim to reach the quarter-finals by taking on Burkina Faso (27 July), South Africa (31 July) and Tanzania (4 August). The other representative from the *Che* club, Yasmin Mrabet, arrives after clocking up 1,427 minutes in 20 appearances last season, scoring 3 goals and playing a key role in her team's promotion to the top flight. The midfielder, who finished as a runner-up with Morocco two years ago, finds herself in Group A, where she will face Kenya (26 July), Algeria (30 July) and Senegal (3 August) in her quest to secure a spot in the quarter-finals.
