Before the match kicked off, Lucía Moral 'WIFI' was presented with the Player of the Month award for February and her personalised item. Goalkeeper Carla Abdón made her Liga F Moeve debut for FC Badalona Women, having previously started in the Copa de la Reina. The opening minutes were evenly contested, with Fatou Kanteh attempting to trouble the Catalan side's defence. The first real opportunity of the match came from a clearance by Andrea Álvarez, which nearly resulted in an own goal. Esther Sullastres was also highly alert, collecting a cross into the area. Alicia Redondo was forced off with an injury, with Débora García coming on as her replacement. On the half-hour mark, a superb individual run by Celya Barclais was finished by Itziar Pinillos from the penalty spot, breaking the deadlock and opening the scoring.

Sevilla FC attempted to react through Fatou Kanteh, but Itziar Pinillos once again latched onto a superb pass from Lice Chamorro, powerfully striking the ball past Esther Sullastres via the post to find the back of the net. Problems mounted for the Sevillista side with Eva Llamas' injury; academy player Julia Torres came on as her replacement. Sullastres denied Lorena Navarro with a magnificent save, and just before half-time, Fatou Kanteh, with a powerful right-footed strike, pulled a goal back. The Gambia international now boasts four goals and two assists in her last five Liga F Moeve matches. The Andalusian side started the second half stronger. The home team were spurred on by an Andrea Álvarez shot that flew wide of the target.

At the other end, Irina Uribe tried a low cross that the home goalkeeper collected. Lucía Moral 'WIFI' sought a goal with a powerful strike that sailed over. The home side's lack of cutting edge contrasted with the clinical finishing of the Catalan club, who made it 1-3 around the hour mark. Barclais, who was named MVP of the match, won possession and Irina Uribe threaded a pass through for Lice Chamorro, who finished perfectly to extend the lead. David Losada brought on Alba Cerrato and Chantal Hagel. Moreover, Sullastres kept her team in the game with a superb save from Estefanía Banini. The goalkeeper also denied Lice Chamorro a brace, with Chamorro redeeming herself by providing an assist for Paula Sánchez. The crossbar denied Rosa Márquez a goal directly from a corner, and Loreta Kullashi scored the definitive 1-5.
