The Palamós stadium kicked off Saturday's fixtures in the fourth matchday of Liga F Moeve. The game was perfectly balanced during the opening minutes. Paula Sánchez livened things up for the home club with a great run that the Donostiarra defence cleared for a corner. For their part, Real Sociedad controlled possession, with Laura Camino posing a threat down the wing. Intza also went in search of a goal, though without success. The match remained deadlocked until, just past the half-hour mark, a long ball broke the FC Badalona Women defence and reached Cecilia Marcos, but María Valenzuela cut out the danger by coming out to the edge of the area. The goalkeeper prevented a dangerous situation with a foul, and the referee was decisive, sending off the Catalan side's goalkeeper. Txell Font came on for Elena Julve, and Intza had a chance with a direct free-kick that went over the bar.

Before the break, Real Sociedad continued to press with a header from Klára Cahynová that sailed over the crossbar. The Catalan team managed to hold on with one player less at the end of the first forty-five minutes. After the second half, Gorka Álvarez's side pushed forward in search of a goal, but Txell Font remained very secure between the posts. The Txuri-urdin team had a good chance with a header from Laura Camino that went high, and Ainhoa Moraza, who was the MVP of the duel, was imperious at the back. The visitors appealed for a potential handball by Itziar Pinillos inside the area, but the referee did not award it. The first substitutions were not long in coming. Carlota Chacón and Ainoa Campo came on for the visitors, and Sheila Guijarro and María Llompart did likewise for the Catalan side.
The Donostiarras continued to push with a shot from Ainoa Campo that Txell Font comfortably saved from inside the area. With fifteen minutes left on the clock, the Basque team's persistence paid off with a goal from Carlota Chacón, but the referee disallowed the action for offside. Ava Seelenfreund was the visitors' final option in search of the coveted goal. Indeed, the forward had a very clear chance with a shot from inside the area that the Catalan team's goalkeeper gathered at the second attempt. In added time, the Basque club appealed for another potential penalty, which the referee did not award. Txell Font made the final save for the home side, who secured a valuable point to continue their accumulation in Liga F Moeve. Real Sociedad, meanwhile, failed to find the net and remains without a win after the first four league fixtures.
