Before kick-off, eight girls from the Club de Natación Martiánez Coral Hotels received an ovation for their success at the VII Spanish Infantil and Cadete Championships, and two of them performed the ceremonial kick-off. The first chance of the match fell to Fatou Dembele, whose strike took a deflection off a visiting player before going out for a corner. It was from that very corner in the 27th minute that the opening goal arrived. A delivery into the box was cleared by the Sevilla FC defence, but the ball found the head of Paola Hernández, who powered a header in from the back post to break the deadlock. The midfielder, returning from injury, dedicated the goal to her grandmother. A few minutes later, Aleksandra Zaremba tried her luck with a powerful strike that went narrowly wide of the target, though a second goal for the Tenerife side felt imminent.

Carlota Suárez capitalised on a delivery from Clau Blanco to get past the Sevilla FC defenders and go one-on-one with Esther Sullastres, beating her with a powerful strike. Just before half-time, Sakina Ouzraoui threaded a pass through to Natalia Ramos, who joined her team's goalscoring festival and was named the match's MVP. After the break, Bárbara Martínez replaced Paola Hernández. Sevilla FC attempted to step forward in search of a way back into the match. Fatou Kanteh posed a threat in attack; the Gambia international looked dangerous and threaded a pass through to Andrea Álvarez, but Fatou Dembele stood firm with an imperial interception to clear the danger. The rebound fell to Xenia Barrios, who tried her luck, but her effort sailed over the crossbar.

The hosts even had the chance to add another, with a cross into the box from Aleksandra Zaremba met by the head of Natalia Ramos. The local midfielder's header was saved by Esther Sullastres, who produced a wonderful intervention to turn the ball behind for a corner. Both managers utilised their benches; Lucía Moral 'WIFI', Alba Cerrato, and Julia Torres came on for the visitors, while Iratxe Pérez replaced the injured Carlota Suárez. The visitors pushed in the final stages to try and narrow the deficit, but Costa Adeje Tenerife remained solid at the back to contain the Sevilla FC attacks. With this victory, the Canary Island side remains in 4th place in Liga F Moeve with 49 points, five points off third place, with Real Sociedad yet to play their match.
