8M, International Women’s Day
The date of 8 March is marked with special significance on the Liga F calendar as it marks International Women's Day. As one would expect, Liga F, as a leader in professional women's sport in Spain, is launching a very special campaign, which will be accompanied by a series of initiatives to pay tribute to all women on this important day.
Likewise, Liga F will also support and raise awareness of the various initiatives undertaken by clubs to promote the full participation of women in society.
One of Liga F's main objectives as an organisation is to empower and educate future generations, normalising the role of women in football. Thus, Liga F works every day to generate a positive social impact beyond the pitch, inspiring optimism and the unshakeable conviction that day by day, victory by victory, we are creating a bigger playing field for everyone with values that make our society a better place.
Professional women's football has become a benchmark not only for other women's sports, but also, and most importantly, a social benchmark, building a community that promotes women's talent in football and inspires future generations with example and unwavering determination.
And today, more than ever, we invite everyone to celebrate with pride that tomorrow's match is already being won today.
