Granada CF has announced its third signing ahead of the 2025/2026 Liga F Moeve season with the arrival of Yohana Gómez (San Pablo de los Montes, 20 January 1994). The goalkeeper from Toledo joins fellow signings Elene Guridi (Real Sociedad) and Raquel Gil (Deportivo Alavés), in addition to the promotion of academy player Vera Molina to the first team. The goalkeeper brings a wealth of experience in Spain. She began her professional career at CDE Gálvez at just 14 years old. After also playing for CD Guadamur, she signed for CD Tacón, which later became Real Madrid CF, in 2017, where she remained until 2021. She then spent a year at Rayo Vallecano before signing for Deportivo Abanca, where she spent four seasons.

With the Galician side, Yohana Gómez achieved promotion to Liga F Moeve and secured two seasons of survival in the top flight, where she also worked with Irene Ferreras, the current head coach of the Nazarí side. In her last two seasons in A Coruña, the goalkeeper from Toledo made a total of 5 league appearances. She is noted for her excellent reflexes between the sticks, her magnificent reaction speed, and her experience at the elite level. She will compete for the starting spot with young goalkeeper Laura Sánchez. “Hello Granadinistas. I am very happy to be part of the 'Eterna Lucha'. I arrive with great excitement and a strong desire to defend these colours. See you soon. Vamos Granada,” declared the goalkeeper in her first words as a new player for the Andalusian club.
