Saturday's matchday concluded at the Fernando Torres stadium, where Madrid CFF and Athletic Club played out a draw. The visitors, who enjoyed more possession in the game, pushed for the opening goal from the early stages. Although the first major chance of the clash fell to Sakina Ouzraoui, her shot went wide. Jone Amezaga responded with an effort that went too high. Víctor Martín's side, returning to his former home, had a very clear opportunity to break the deadlock. Paola Ulloa made a good save from Jone Amezaga's shot. Ane Azkona won the rebound and passed back to her teammate, but Kate Taylor cleared the ball off the line to prevent what would have been the first goal.

Around the half-hour mark, Irene Oguiza tried again with a shot that was blocked by the Madrid defence. The midfielder continued to press with another high effort. Maite Valero also came close to scoring, testing the goalkeeper with a header that grazed the crossbar. Just as the Bilbao side were playing their best, the first goal of the match arrived. A ball recovery in the opposition half led to a pass from Sakina Ouzraoui to Marina Rivas. The midfielder sent a cross into the box, which Emilie Nautnes headed into the net to make it 1-0. Emilie Holt had a chance before the break with a point-blank shot that Nanclares saved with a superb foot save to deny the home side a second.

After the restart, Alba Ruiz came on for Madrid CFF, but it was the visitors who took just one minute to level the scores. A foul by Ana González on Jone Amezaga was taken by Bibiane Schulze. The centre-back, who was the MVP of the duel, unleashed a powerful direct free-kick that found the near post of Paola Ulloa to make it 1-1. Alba Ruiz could have put her team back in front with a deflected shot. Meanwhile, Víctor Martín made a substitution, bringing on Daniela Agote, and it was precisely the winger who fired a shot across goal that struck the woodwork, much to the relief of the home side. However, it was on the very next play that Athletic Club took the lead again.

A corner from Sara Ortega was met by several players before Bibiane Schulze ultimately headed the ball into the net to complete her brace. Ane Elexpuru had a chance to seal the win, but her shot went narrowly wide. Elene Gurtubay and Patri Zugasti came on for the visitors, while Hasnath Ubamba did the same for the Madrid team. A ball recovery by Ana González led to a pass to the winger, who found Sakina Ouzraoui in the box. The forward produced a perfect piece of skill to make it 2-2. The Bilbao side tried their luck from set pieces, and Daniela Agote had a one-on-one with Paola Ulloa, which the goalkeeper saved to maintain the draw.
