Before the match kicked off, the Orzán SD squad won the trophy in the U12 girls' category. This was the final match of the season for Deportivo Abanca at the Riazor stadium. The first chance of the game came from a shot by Ainoa Campo, but Inês Pereira held onto the ball to avert the danger. The Portuguese goalkeeper proved decisive once again, saving a shot from inside the box by Ángeles del Álamo. The Vallecas forward was looking for the much-desired goal for her team. At the other end, Meritxell Muñoz stood tall and prevented a dangerous play from forward Esperanza Pizarro, who came close to scoring. Bárbara Latorre also tried her luck with a cross-shot that the Perico team's goalkeeper gathered. In first-half added time, Ona Baradad won the ball on the edge of the area, got past Vera Martínez, and unleashed a right-footed strike that beat the home goalkeeper to score.

However, the Catalan team's joy was short-lived, as it didn't take long for the Galician club to equalise. A surging run by Bárbara Latorre was picked up by Paula Gutiérrez. The midfielder spread the play to Samara Ortiz. The full-back delivered a pass back for Paula Gutiérrez herself to make it 1-1 at the end of the first forty-five minutes. At the start of the second half, Esperanza Pizarro had a chance with a great shot from inside the box, but Meritxell Muñoz made a crucial save to push the ball out for a corner. In the opposition area, Browne tried to create danger but without success in front of the rival goal. Naima García also tried her luck with a shot from outside the box, but her effort went wide and didn't trouble the Portuguese goalkeeper. About half an hour into the second half, Ona Baradad, who was the MVP of the match, delivered a cross into the box.

Naima García was the one to finish it off, latching onto the ball and sending it into the back of the net with a superb header. After the goal, Olaya Rodríguez and Paula Monteagudo came on for the Deportivo side. Naima García came close to scoring a third from a direct free-kick, but Inês Pereira held onto the ball, while Olaya Rodríguez narrowly missed the equaliser with a free-kick that went wide. Raquel García also came close to scoring, but the centre-back was inches away from connecting with the ball. Millene Cabral, who returned to the team after a long injury, came close to scoring, but the Catalan team's goalkeeper held onto the ball to prevent the attack. And, Henar Muiña tried her luck with a powerful strike from outside the box that missed the target. Cris Martínez, playing again after becoming a mother, delivered a cross into the box that Paula Monteagudo scored. Inês Pereira was sent off in the closing stages of the game.
