Sevilla brings together the great prospects of women's football in the Liga Futura Moeve Tournament

The 1st Liga Futura Moeve Tournament will kick off on Friday, June 12th, with the first and second matchdays of the group stage. Meanwhile, on Saturday, June 13th, the third matchday and the quarter-final duels will be played, while on Sunday, June 14th, the semi-finals and the final will take place.

There is just one day left until the start of Liga Futura Moeve, the first-ever U-12 women's football tournament, organised by Liga F and Moeve, as part of a firm commitment to promote women's football from the grassroots up. The championship, which will be held from June 12th to 14th at the Ciudad Deportiva José Ramón Cisneros of Sevilla FC, will feature 12 teams from professional competition clubs: Athletic Club, Atlético de Madrid, FC Badalona Women, Costa Adeje Tenerife, Deportivo Abanca, DUX Logroño, RCD Espanyol, FC Barcelona, Levante UD, Madrid CFF, Real Sociedad, and Sevilla FC. These twelve teams are divided into three groups of four. The top two from each group and the two best third-placed teams will qualify for the quarter-finals, and the remaining four will play in the Silver Phase. The matches will be broadcast on RTVE Play, TV3, TVG, Sevilla FC+, TV Canarias, and the Liga F YouTube channel.

Group A

The first of the three groups consists of Atlético de Madrid, FC Badalona Women, Deportivo Abanca, and Madrid CFF. Matchday one, which will be played on Friday, June 12th, will see Atlético de Madrid vs. FC Badalona Women at 12:00 PM and Deportivo Abanca vs. Madrid CFF at 12:30 PM. On the same Friday, the second matchday of the championship will take place with Atlético de Madrid vs. Deportivo Abanca at 7:00 PM and FC Badalona Women vs. Madrid CFF at 7:00 PM. Group A will be decided on Saturday, June 13th, with Madrid CFF vs. Atlético de Madrid at 9:30 AM and FC Badalona Women vs. Deportivo Abanca at 10:00 AM.

Group B

Group B is made up of Costa Adeje Tenerife, FC Barcelona, Levante UD, and Sevilla FC, who are the hosts of the tournament. The first matchday of the championship, which will be played on Friday, June 12th, will feature the clash between Costa Adeje Tenerife vs. FC Barcelona at 10:30 AM, and the match between Levante UD vs. Sevilla FC at 11:30 AM. On Friday afternoon, Costa Adeje Tenerife vs. Levante UD will be played at 8:00 PM and the encounter between FC Barcelona vs. Sevilla FC at 8:30 PM. The group's conclusion will be on Saturday, June 13th, with the match between FC Barcelona vs. Levante UD at 11:30 AM, and the game between Sevilla FC vs. Costa Adeje Tenerife at 12:00 PM.

Group C

Finally, Group C includes Athletic Club, DUX Logroño, RCD Espanyol, and Real Sociedad, who will open the tournament on Friday, July 12th. The match between Athletic Club vs. DUX Logroño will be the inaugural game at 9:30 AM, while RCD Espanyol vs. Real Sociedad will be played at 10:00 AM. Matchday two will feature the clash between Athletic Club vs. RCD Espanyol at 6:00 PM, and the game between DUX Logroño vs. Real Sociedad at 6:30 PM. The teams qualifying for the quarter-finals will be revealed on Saturday, June 13th, with the Basque derby between Real Sociedad vs. Athletic Club at 10:30 AM and DUX Logroño vs. RCD Espanyol at 11:00 AM.

The two phases of the tournament

The top two teams from each of the groups and the two best third-placed teams will qualify for the quarter-finals. Four matches will be played on Saturday, June 13th, at 7:00 PM, 7:30 PM, 8:00 PM, and 8:30 PM. The three worst teams from each group and the worst third-placed team will enter the Silver Phase semi-finals, which will be played on the same Saturday, June 13th, at 6:00 PM and 6:30 PM. On Sunday, June 14th, the Final Phase semi-finals will be played at 9:30 AM and 10:10 AM, and the Silver Phase Final at 10:50 AM. The grand final will be at 12:00 PM, followed by the trophy presentation with the award for the champion and three individual trophies for the best goalkeeper, the top scorer, and the MVP of the tournament. The matches will last 12 minutes per half, with the exception of the games played on Sunday, where each half will last fifteen minutes.
