Real Sociedad wins the Basque derby

As the minutes passed, and despite the changes involving Nerea Nevado and Maitane Vilariño, Athletic Club was running out of time. The clearest chance once again fell to the *donostiarras*. Arola Aparicio broke away with pace and delivered a cross to the centre of the box, where Intza attempted a powerful strike that was saved by a formidable Adriana Nanclares. The home side continued to press in the final stretch, looking for Ane Azkona and Irene Oguiza, but neither player found success. With the final whistle, the victory for the San Sebastián side was confirmed. They remain in 3rd position in Liga F Moeve with 44 points, eight clear of the fourth-placed team.
