Saturday's action concluded at the Di Stéfano, where Real Madrid CF claimed all three points to maintain their unbeaten run in Liga F Moeve. The hosts handed top-flight debuts to Claudia de la Cuerda and Oihane San Martín. Pau Quesada's side started the stronger of the two teams, dominating possession and dictating the tempo of the match. With nearly half an hour on the clock, a brilliant individual run by Lineth Beerensteyn was capped off by Elisa Senss, who unleashed a thunderous strike from inside the box straight into the back of the net. The German midfielder was named MVP of the match. Oihane San Martín came close to doubling the lead, but her effort drifted just past the post. Felicia Schröder made no mistake, however. The forward, returning to the side after serving a suspension, met a fantastic cross into the area from Bella Andersson, who joined the attack to deliver a pin-point cross to the back post.
Before the break, Lineth Beerensteyn came close to extending the lead, but the Dutch player was denied by Alice Pinguet, who rushed off her line to clear the ball away. After the interval, Candela Rodríguez made her debut for the Whites. Real Madrid CF could have put the match to bed with a superb effort from Felicia Schröder, but the forward's shot struck the woodwork, denying the Swede a second goal. The visiting goalkeeper also comfortably gathered a powerful strike from the edge of the area. At the other end, Valencia CF, still very much in the game, came close to reducing the deficit when a shot from Rebecca Elloh crashed against the crossbar, much to the relief of the hosts who escaped conceding. The visitors poured forward in attack in search of that elusive goal.
Once again, Pauleta Sancho came within inches of scoring, but Lakrar cleared the ball off the goal line. Third time's a charm for the Valencian side, though. Forward Danielle Marcano bundled a corner kick into the back of the net to set up a tense finale. Mikel Crespo's team pushed hard for an equaliser, but the hosts held on to their lead. The match remained in the balance until, deep into stoppage time, Andreia Jacinto played a slide-rule pass to Athenea del Castillo, who unleashed a fierce strike from outside the box that clipped the post before nestling in the back of the net to make it 3-1 and seal the victory. It was a cold shower for the visitors, whose hopes of taking something away from home vanished. With this win, Real Madrid sit 2nd in the standings with 10 points, while the club che are yet to get off the mark.
