Pau Quesada's side settled into the game and began to approach the goal defended by the French goalkeeper, Salvador. In the 13th minute, Football Video Support disallowed a goal by Alba Redondo for offside against Atenea, but the white team gradually began to dominate possession, with Feller central to most attacking moves and deservedly named Player of the Match. In the 41st minute, the French forward provided a perfectly weighted pass from the edge of the box to the German Däbritz, who gently chipped the ball with her left foot in a beautiful lob that deflected off Simona and ended up in her own net to make it 0-1 on the scoreboard. 

There was no more time in the first half, and after the break, Pau Quesada's side continued to control the match from the outset, although possession became more balanced as the minutes passed. The blue and white team created two chances without too much danger. Laura Martínez, in the 67th minute, shot from the edge of the box, a strike that went slightly wide, and, in the 74th, Naima tried to surprise Misa from the centre circle, but she was very secure between the sticks.

In the 77th minute, Feller delivered a precise cross from the left wing that Keukelaar headed, but it went too wide. In the 87th, the blue and white Laura Martínez tried her luck from distance again, and in stoppage time, the 'Perico' side sought an equaliser with a tame header from Júlia Guerra that Misa gathered, closing off her goal and the match.
