PUMA and Liga F present a new era with the STELLAR NITRO ball
PUMA today unveiled the STELLAR NITRO ball, the official Liga F ball for the 2026/2027 season. It is the most technically advanced ball the sports brand has designed for one of the most promising and exciting women's competitions worldwide.

Every season, Liga F raises the standard of women's football with a faster, more agile, and competitive game. The STELLAR NITRO ball has been created not only to keep pace with the modern women's game but to propel it forward.
The new ball incorporates a NITROFOAM core, PUMA's innovative nitrogen-infused foam and one of the brand's most iconic and recognised technologies, applied to a football for the first time in history. After revolutionising sports footwear performance, NITRO™ technology now makes the leap to the pitch to offer a new generation of balls designed to maximise energy return on every impact and provide a more precise and reactive feel. As a result, touches, passes, and shots leave the foot with exceptional speed and responsiveness. STELLAR NITRO™ is perfect to become the reference ball for the professional league, which continues to drive the evolution and future of women's football.
The engineering behind this responsiveness is present in every detail. A precise 4+4 panel construction optimises airflow and minimises drag to offer a more stable and accurate flight. Furthermore, the textured, embossed outer surface improves aerodynamic control, helping the ball maintain a constant speed throughout its entire trajectory.
Visually, the STELLAR NITRO™ ball reflects the identity of Liga F: dynamic and in constant motion. Its design combines organic and fluid shapes that convey speed and connection on the pitch, alongside a light and fresh pastel colour palette, contrasted with dark shapes that provide visual strength and make the colours stand out even more on the grass.
The ball will begin rolling on the pitch during pre-season matches in July, with its official debut coming when the competition kicks off.
