José Herrera's side continue in magnificent form. Seven minutes into the game, Alexia threaded a ball through for Priscila Chinchilla's run. The Costa Rican outpaced the home defence and finished by beating Carla Abdón with a superb strike to break the deadlock and score her first goal as a Colchonera. A few minutes later, Fiamma worked her magic and filtered a pass to Jensen, who cut inside the Catalan team's goalkeeper, but her shot towards an empty net was cleared off the line by Sonia Majarín's knee. The second goal was scored by Priscila Chinchilla, who completed her brace with a true work of art to become the MVP of the match. The midfielder received a pass from Rosa Otermín and sent the ball into the top corner. The home side's reaction was swift, and Itziar Pinillos equalised after heading in a cross into the area.

The match went into half-time with the Rojiblancas leading, but without sealing the game. After the break, Celya Barclais came on to reinforce the Catalan team's defence. Atlético de Madrid came close to a third with a good shot from Priscila Chinchilla, but the Costa Rican was denied by Carla Abdón, who prevented the home midfielder from scoring a hat-trick. From a potential 1-3 to 2-2 in just a few minutes. Half an hour into the second half, Itziar Pinillos delivered a ball into the area which Irina Uribe controlled, and with a tremendous strike, levelled the score. Lydia Rodríguez and Maca Portales came on for the Colchonero team, and Cristina Cubedo, returning from injury, also did so for the Catalans, but the score remained unchanged. The match seemed destined to end in a draw, but José Herrera again turned to his bench, with Luany and Júlia Bartel entering the fray, and both players made the difference.

With six minutes left on the clock, the Brazilian winger produced a magnificent individual play with several dribbles from inside the box, and laid the ball back for Júlia Bartel to unleash a powerful shot close to the post that surprised the Catalan team's goalkeeper, who could do little. And in added time, with FC Badalona Women pushing forward, Fiamma threaded a pass to Luany, who used her speed to get past her defenders and slot the ball into the far post to definitively seal the match. The final whistle confirmed the victory for the Madrid side, who maintain their great dynamic and sit in 4th position in Liga F Moeve with 47 points, seven points off the Champions League places, with Real Sociedad still to play. Meanwhile, Marc Ballester's team could not return to winning ways at home and are in 9th place with 35 points.
