Both sides concluded Matchday 22 of LigaF Moeve. To mark 8M, two players from RCD Espanyol's women's academy served as match speakers during the game. Furthermore, all the women working at the club were present in the directors' box. The parity on the pitch was absolute, although the *perico* side was dictating play in the opposition half. The first opportunity of the encounter came from a shot by Sara Martín that the home defence cleared. Mireia Masegur also tested the keeper after a free-kick taken by Eunate Astralaga. Iara Lacosta also tried her luck with an effort wide of the mark. The clearest chance arrived in the eighteenth minute, with another set-piece delivery from Eunate Astralaga that Mireia Masegur headed directly against the crossbar, much to the relief of the *perica* defence.

RCD Espanyol also looked for Ángeles del Álamo and Ona Baradad, who tried with a high shot. Mar Torres came close to scoring with a header, but it was Ona Baradad who broke the deadlock in the 41st minute. The winger was the MVP of the match. A throw-in was flicked on by Ángeles del Álamo, and Naima García collected the ball, finding the forward from Roselló unmarked, who cut inside Eunate Astralaga to send the ball straight into the back of the net. After the break, the match followed the same pattern as the first half, although Iñaki Goiketxea's team attempted to push forward more in attack. Laura Camino, with a direct free-kick that sailed over the crossbar, narrowly missed what would have been the equaliser for the Eibar side, who were throwing men forward.

Carmen Álvarez also came close to scoring but missed wide. Sara Monforte rotated her squad with a triple substitution. Browne, Daniela Caracas, and Paula Arana entered the pitch. The changes worked perfectly, and barely a minute later, Daniela Caracas beat her marker to get to the byline and played a ball to the edge of the box, where Lucía Vallejo controlled the ball and fired it into the net to make it two, leaving Eunate Astralaga with little chance to stop the effort. Despite the scoreline, SD Eibar did not give up. Emma Moreno came on first, followed by Ane Etxezarreta and Elena Valej, in an attempt to reduce the deficit, but the scoreboard did not change again, and the Eibar side now accumulates seven consecutive defeats.
