Both teams took to the pitch with the aim of securing all three points. Sara Monforte's side pressed the Granota team's build-up play, and the first chance of the match came from that pressure. The 'Pericas' recovered the ball in the opposition half, and Naima García tried her luck with a shot from the edge of the box that went wide, to the relief of the Granota goalkeeper. The reply came from an Ana Franco header following a corner, but the forward's effort went well wide. Andrés París's team also created danger with a shot from Carol Marín, who was returning to her former club, but the midfielder's strike was safely gathered by Meritxell Muñoz. In the 35th minute, Laia Ballesté was forced off injured and Júlia Guerra came on in her place. Just before half-time, Naima García scored an Olympic goal to break the deadlock.

The midfielder, who was named MVP of the match, surprised Laura Coronado to break the deadlock. In the second half, the visitors pushed forward with a cross-shot from María Gabaldón that went well wide without finding any teammate to convert the ball. Half an hour into the second half, Andrés París brought on Ari Arias to gain more attacking presence, while Sara Monforte made changes from the bench with Lucía Vallejo and Cristina Baudet. The Levante UD Femenino side rallied and began to search for a goal against Meritxell Muñoz's goal. The goalkeeper made a superb save, with the help of the post, from an Ari Arias header, which came within inches of scoring. Ana Franco also came close to scoring with another header, which the 'Perica' goalkeeper again saved, showing quick reflexes to prevent the goal. 

Andrés París's side also appealed for a possible penalty for handball by Amaia Martínez, which the referee, after reviewing it on the monitor, did not award. The 'Granotas' also looked for a goal from a direct free-kick, but Meritxell Muñoz parried the shot. The rebound fell to Ari Arias, but the forward's shot went well wide. Gema Soliveres, Daniela Luque and Inés Rizo also came on for the visitors in search of a goal that never materialised. After appealing for another possible penalty that the referee did not award, the last major chance of the match was a shot from Teresa Mérida from inside the box. Again, a formidable Meritxell Muñoz between the sticks saved the shot for a corner. The goalkeeper made up to nine interventions throughout the match to keep a clean sheet and secure the 'Pericas'' survival, ensuring they will remain in Liga F Moeve for another year.
