Before the start of the match, an emotional minute's silence was observed in memory of the mother of Garbiñe Etxebarria, Real Sociedad's director of women's football. The first chance of the match came from a cross into the box by Intza from the wing. The winger's delivery was headed by Claire Lavogez, but the French player's header went straight into the hands of a confident María Miralles, who gathered the ball. After half an hour of play, Lucía Pardo, who was the MVP of the match, linked up with Paula Fernández, who threaded a pass through to Intza. The winger drove into the box, and Rebeca, attempting to clear, put the ball into her own net. DUX Logroño tried to react before half-time, but the San Sebastián defence remained impenetrable at the back, cutting out their opponent's attacking moves.

After the break, the match maintained the same rhythm as the first half, but the Riojan side quickly made a substitution with the introduction of Mia Asenjo to create more danger upfront. A cross from Catalina Ongaro was almost headed in by the forward, but it was Annelie Leitner who ended up chesting it wide. Salomé Prat also tried her luck, threading a pass through to Falfán. The midfielder cut inside the box and unleashed a shot that Real Sociedad's defence blocked for another corner kick. Indeed, from a set-piece, Mia Asenjo came close to scoring, but the forward ended up shooting from the far post directly into the side netting. Isina also tried her luck with a shot from outside the box, which Julia Arrula gathered in two attempts to thwart the visitors.

Real Sociedad had a chance to seal the win through Andreia Jacinto, but the Portuguese player's shot went straight into the hands of María Miralles, who made six saves throughout the match. The goalkeeper, who kept her team in the match, also parried a shot from Lucía Pardo with a good save. Time was running out for DUX Logroño, who also brought on Flavine Mawete to gain more presence upfront. With four minutes remaining, Margarita Giménez sent a long ball for Mia Asenjo's run, who sprinted past Lucía Rodríguez and ultimately beat Julia Arrula with a low shot. The home side appealed for a possible penalty by Miralles on Cecilia Marcos, which the referee did not award. The last chance of the match was a shot from Nerea Eizagirre, which Miralles comfortably saved to rescue a valuable point.
