With the notable inclusion of academy player Rosalía Domínguez in the starting XI, FC Barcelona entered the match with the intention of clinching the title. Just two minutes into the game, Carla Julià, who received a good pass from Graham Hansen, unleashed a thunderous strike from the edge of the box that rebounded off the post before nestling directly into the back of the net. 0-1 on the scoreboard for Barça, who took the lead. The visitors had a chance for a second through debutant Rosalía Domínguez, but her shot was comfortably saved by Romane Salvador. The French goalkeeper was also alert to collect a scuffed shot from Sydney Schertenleib. Pere Romeu's side continued their dominance, but around the half-hour mark, Marta Torrejón conceded a penalty against Browne, which Laia Ballesté converted from the spot to beat Cata Coll and level the match.

Despite the goal, it was FC Barcelona's day, and they only took two minutes to regain the lead. Clara Serrajordi conjured some magic, threading a ball through for Graham Hansen's run, who, with a subtle touch, beat Romane Salvador. The Cules went into half-time with the league title in the bag. After the restart, Pere Romeu made changes, bringing on Vicky López for Graham Hansen. The home side tried to respond, but it was Carla Julià who once again made an impact down the wing. The Catalan delivered a perfectly weighted cross to Martine Fenger's head, who headed the ball powerfully. Romane Salvador got a slight touch on the ball, but it still found its way into the back of the net. After the goal, Sara Monforte brought on Daniela Caracas and Aina Duran, who returned to play after recovering from a cruciate ligament injury. Meanwhile, Pina, Alexia, and Patri Guijarro came on for the visitors.

The Espanyol team tried to find a way back, looking for a tenacious Browne in attack, but the Barça defence remained very solid at the back. Meanwhile, Alexia brought her magic to the Cules' attack. Indeed, the two-time Ballon d'Or winner initiated the definitive 1-4 with a pass for Carla Julià's run down the left flank. The full-back cut inside and delivered another cross to Martine Fenger's head, who once again headed home to complete her brace and become the Player of the Match. Again, Romane Salvador got a touch on the ball, but she couldn't prevent Barça's goal. The final whistle confirmed the victory for Pere Romeu's side, who, with four Matchdays remaining, are crowned Liga F Moeve champions, their eleventh league title, and seventh in a row. Meanwhile, RCD Espanyol had already achieved their objective of staying in the top flight for another season a couple of Matchdays ago.
