The Nazarí side continues their winning streak, securing their fifth consecutive victory in Liga F Moeve, and have only lost one match in the year 2026. The first chance of the game fell to Jone Amezaga. The forward unleashed a rocket from inside the box, but her shot was met by the response of a formidable Laura Sánchez. The goalkeeper was the MVP of the match with four highly commendable saves. The visitors reacted, and in the 16th minute, Manoly Baquerizo headed home from a corner kick. The Athletic defence cleared the shot, but the ball fell back to the Ecuadorian full-back, who opened the scoring, and now has four goals in her last three league matches. The second chance came from Laura Pérez. The winger used her pace to get away and unleashed a shot that went narrowly wide of the post. Lauri Requena also tried her luck, but without success.
The Andalusian team's captain headed a cross into the heart of the area, but Adriana Nanclares reacted with a great intervention to send the ball out for a corner. The last action of the first half was a miscued shot from Jone Amezaga, but the ball went over the crossbar. After the break, Javi Lerga's team continued to push for a goal. Ane Elexpuru delivered a cross to the far post which Jone Amezaga collected. The forward took on her marker and put the ball back into the heart of the area. The ball went directly to the head of Ane Azkona, but the Navarran player couldn't find the back of the net. Just as the Basque side seemed to be gaining momentum in search of an equaliser, Alba Pérez sent a ball into the area, and Andrea Gómez, from the second post, headed the ball powerfully over Nanclares to score the second goal.

After the goal, the home side made changes. Daniela Agote, Elene Gurtubay, Bibiane Schulze and Patricia Zugasti, both returning from injury, entered the pitch to try and find a late comeback. Meanwhile, Irene Ferreras reinforced the result with the introduction of Blanca Muñoz. The last throw of the dice for Athletic was Ane Campos, to try and get more balls into the box. Although the clearest chance fell to Elene Gurtubay. The midfielder met a corner kick but was thwarted by a brilliant reaction from Laura Sánchez. The goalkeeper saved the shot with her feet and then cleared the rebound with a providential save, one of the great interventions of the competition. In added time, Ane Elexpuru took advantage of a good pass from Daniela Agote down the wing to send the ball into the back of the net, although the home side ran out of time to complete the comeback.
