Lucía Pardo, attacking talent for the Deportivo Abanca forward line

The 26-year-old forward has signed for the Galician club for the next two seasons. The attacker arrives from Real Sociedad, where she played 53 Liga F Moeve matches over two league campaigns, scoring 12 goals. The native of Lugo was the first goalscorer in the history of professional Spanish women's football.

Deportivo Abanca continues to strengthen its squad for the upcoming league season. Joining the signings of Paula Hernández (Costa Adeje Tenerife B), Carla Castiñeyras (Alhama CF ElPozo), Ainoa Gómez (FC Barcelona B), Andrea Tarazona (Levante UD), Vega Montesinos (Alhama CF ElPozo), Eva Alonso (Levante UD), Daniela Caracas (RCD Espanyol) and Marisa García (Real Madrid CF), although the latter was already in A Coruña last season, but on loan, is Lucía Pardo. The forward arrives from Real Sociedad, where she has spent the last two seasons. Having come through the youth ranks of SCD Milagrosa and PM Friol, both clubs from the province of Lugo, in the 2021-22 season she made the leap to play in the Madrid CFF academy, starting in the reserve team, but her good performances led to her being registered for the first team.

During her time in the capital, she played a total of 60 matches, 53 in Primera División, and 7 in Primera RFEF, scoring 8 goals and providing 9 assists. Furthermore, in September 2022, she became the first goalscorer in the history of Spanish professional women's football. After her spell with the Madrid team, the attacker signed for Real Sociedad, where she has spent the last two seasons, playing 53 Liga F Moeve matches, scoring 12 goals and providing 3 assists. Specifically, this past season she accumulated 1,156 league minutes in 24 matches, fourteen as a starter and ten as a substitute, in which she scored 6 goals and provided 1 assist. In addition to being key for the San Sebastián team to qualify for the Champions League preliminary round. At 26 years old, the player from Lugo has accumulated 115 matches in the top flight, with 20 goals scored.


“Deportivistas, I'm here. Forza Depor”, were her first words as a new player for the Galician team. Lucía Pardo, who commits to the Herculine team for the next two seasons, has been an international in all youth categories for the Spanish National Team. The attacker will look to contribute her goals and assists to the Galician team's attack, being able to play both as a main striker and on both wings. Furthermore, the Galician footballer has already joined her new team's pre-season, which kicked off this Monday, July 13th, with the usual physical assessments and medical examinations. A new piece for the Deportivo Abanca project, which, led by Alberto Rodríguez from the dugout, is starting to take shape in pursuit of securing another season in Liga F Moeve to continue establishing itself in the elite.
