Lola Romero participated in one of the matchday's panel discussions, which debated the role of institutions in women's football regarding governance, regulation, investment, and strategy, alongside Reyes Bellver; RFEF Director of Women's Football, Sue Day, Director of Women's Football at the English Football Association, and Jordi Horrach, President of the Federació de Futbol de les Illes Balears (FFIB).
RCD Mallorca's Director of Communications, Héctor Martín, acted as moderator for a session that was opened by Alfonso Díaz, CEO of the Mallorquinista entity, who wished to highlight the "pride it brings the club to host a forum such as this. Women's sport is living through a key moment and needs more resources, visibility, structures, and a sustained commitment from those who are part of this world."
In this regard, Díaz explained that the entity has sought to "be part of this momentum with a sustainable project and an appropriate structure, such as the birth of the RCD Mallorca women's team, which will progress and grow over time starting from the alevín category."
Taking advantage of the international match between Spain and England at the Estadi Mallorca Son Moix, a qualifier for the 2027 World Cup, RCD Mallorca organised this forum with the aim of highlighting the role of women in sport, creating spaces for reflection, and raising the profile of the challenges and opportunities currently facing women's sport.
