Isina rescues a point for DUX Logroño
The Riojan side drew against RCD Espanyol (1-1) to move away from the relegation zone. Points shared in the direct duel for survival. The home side started better, looking to generate danger from the opening minutes of the match. Sara Monforte's team tried their luck from set-pieces, but the Vinotinto defence remained imperious at the back. For their part, the team managed by David Hernández, who was making his debut on the Riojan bench, and Daniel Montoya, had a very clear chance in the 19th minute. After the goal, Sara Monforte made a double substitution, bringing on Ariadna Doménech and Ona Baradad to reinforce the right flank of the defence and the attacking front. The Perico team livened up with a direct free-kick from Naima García, but the forward's shot went over the bar, much to the relief of Miralles, who saw that the shot posed little danger. DUX Logroño tried in the final stretch with the introduction of Welma Fon, but the Belgian forward failed to create problems for Romane Salvador. With the final whistle, the points were shared between the two teams. With this draw, RCD Espanyol remains in 11th position in Liga F Moeve with 21 points, eleven ahead of their rivals, who are on the cusp of safety with 10 points, one point above the relegation places.
