Four teams, fifteen points up for grabs and five direct clashes. After the two-week international break, Liga F Moeve returns this weekend with the battle for survival heating up. The first of the five clashes between the four clubs fighting to avoid relegation will be the match between SD Eibar and Levante UD, which will take place on Saturday, 25 April at 16:00 at the Ipurua stadium. Furthermore, the 'armeras', who currently sit in 13th place with 18 points, will also face Alhama CF ElPozo, 15th in the standings with 9 points, and DUX Logroño, who are outside the relegation zone with 14 points, during these final five matchdays. For their part, the 'granota' side, bottom of the table with 8 points, will also face the Riojan and Murcian teams as they look to maintain their top-flight status.
Ipurua, key in the fight for survival
The 'armero' side is clinging to its home stadium to secure survival in the First Division. Iñaki Goikoetxea's side, who are in 13th position in Liga F Moeve with 18 points—nine clear of the relegation zone—will host Levante UD, Alhama CF ElPozo and DUX Logroño at home to seal their safety. SD Eibar, who with just 12 goals scored are the lowest-scoring team this season, went into the international break after a run of ten consecutive matches without a win (one draw and nine defeats). A poor run of results that has dragged them into the fight to avoid the drop. Forward Sara Martín, who is suspended due to an accumulation of yellow cards, will be the only absentee for the hosts, who welcome back Carla Andrés in defence.
Meanwhile, Levante UD are bottom of Liga F Moeve with 8 points, six adrift of safety. The 'granota' side has suffered seven consecutive defeats, scoring only one goal in those seven matches. Even so, Andrés París' side, who will face all three of their direct rivals for survival, keep the faith that they can stay up, although they have no margin for error. Érika González will be the only absentee for the visiting side. The Asturian forward tore her cruciate ligament and will miss the remainder of the season due to injury. Both teams have met on nine occasions in the First Division, with two wins for the Basque side, two draws and five victories for the 'levantinistas'. The first-half meeting was won 0-1 by the 'armero' club with a goal from Opa Clement in Buñol.
