Las Gaunas stadium was dressed up to welcome FC Barcelona, with whom defender Adriana Ranera made her debut. Furthermore, Ona Batlle played her 100th match as a Culé. The Blaugranas, who took to the pitch wearing shirts in support of Marta Torrejón following her father's passing and Laia Aleixandri due to her ACL injury, quickly took control of the ball. Salma attempted a shot that Miralles saved without much trouble. Miralles also remained alert to get ahead of Kika Nazareth. Once again, Salma had the clearest chance with a strike that hit the woodwork directly. The Riojan team's defence remained solid at the back. Twenty minutes into the game, Carla Julià tried a shot that went over the crossbar, much to the relief of the home defence.

Pere Romeu's side continued their approach but struggled to find a way past a solid María Miralles in goal. Vicky López and Clara Serrajordi both had attempts that went wide. The Blaugranas repeatedly hit their heads against the Vinotinto wall, while Mawete, on the counter-attack, failed to create any danger for Gemma Font's goal. Just before half-time, Miralles prevented Vicky López from scoring with an effective save. After the break, FC Barcelona took just five minutes to break the deadlock. Graham Hansen delivered a pass to the far post, where Carla Julià simply had to tap the ball into the net to break the home side's resistance. Barely two minutes later, Kika Nazareth doubled the lead.
The Blaugrana club had managed to find gaps in the opposition defence. And, in the 56th minute, Vicky López pounced on a rebound from Miralles inside the area to score the third goal in front of the 4,454 spectators who attended the Las Gaunas stadium. It was a practically decisive goal and prompted the first substitutions from the Riojan team's bench. Catalina Ongaro and Welma Fon, who debuted for DUX Logroño, entered the field. Miralles prevented a fourth with a good save. María Llorella made her first appearance with FC Barcelona's first team, who conquered Las Gaunas with Graham Hansen as the MVP of the match. The Blaugranas maintain their ten-point lead at the top of the table, while the Riojan side are currently in a relegation play-off spot with 9 points.
