The Athletic Club footballers posed for the starting XI photo with fourteen girls from Alcázar CF. It was an even contest from the first minutes of the match. The first chance came from Marina Rivas with a ball into the box that Adriana Nanclares comfortably collected. The visiting midfielder tried her luck a few minutes later with a shot that the Bilbao defence cleared. Meanwhile, Ane Azkona attempted a shot that went wide. It was an even contest at Lezama until, twenty-five minutes into the match, Ángela Sosa scored one of the stunning goals of the season in Liga F Moeve. The Seville-born player conjured up an Olympic goal to surprise Adriana Nanclares and put her team ahead on the scoreboard. The Bilbao side recovered quickly, and just five minutes later, Sara Ortega levelled the score.
The attacker, who was the MVP of the match, produced a cross-shot that Ane Azkona didn't touch, allowing the ball to go straight into the back of the net. A potential comeback was on Daniela Agote's boots, but the winger's shot was saved by Paola Ulloa with her foot to deflect the effort. The visiting goalkeeper caught a header from Naia Landaluze inside the box to end the first forty-five minutes. After the break, Jone Amezaga and Irene Oguiza entered the pitch. The first chance of the second half was a shot from Sara Ortega that went over the bar. In the next play, a cross from Clara Pinedo slipped through Paola Ulloa's hands. The rebound fell to Jone Amezaga, who was the sharpest player to turn the scoreboard around at Lezama.

Madrid CFF tried to react with the introduction of Nerea Sánchez in midfield, but half an hour into the game, the Madrid side's problems mounted again. Emilie Nautnes came close to equalising, but Nanclares anticipated the shot. The Norwegian forward went for the rebound inside the box, but her boot ended up impacting Eider Arana's ankle. A direct red card for the visiting striker. And, in the 67th minute, Leire Baños, with a header from inside the box, capitalised on another header from Naia Landaluze to extend the lead on the scoreboard. The definitive 4-1 was scored by Ane Azkona. The forward capitalised on a pass from Ane Elexpuru to seal the match. Jone Amezaga sought her brace, but first Alba Ruiz, then the post, and subsequently Paola Ulloa, saved what would have been the fifth goal.
