The story of Fiamma Benítez (Denia, 19 June 2004) begins with her parents, Cristina and Daniel, travelling to Spain. Her mother played football in Argentina, but she faced limitations and obstacles and could never even become semi-professional. Her daughter, Fiamma, fulfilled her mother's dream. She started in nursery school at four, and at thirteen, she began playing with boys until she joined Levante UD in 2020, where her mother was key in taking Silvia Lloris and her from school to training with the Granota side. “I've progressed through stages very quickly, and sometimes I have to pause and think about everything I'm doing, but I've always taken it very seriously. My parents have also made me see it that way,” the midfielder states about her family's support. From the Levante UD team, she moved to Valencia CF, and two years later, in 2024, to the Colchonero squad.

Last season, in her debut with Atlético de Madrid, she scored 4 goals and provided 9 assists in the 1,958 minutes she played in Liga F Moeve, missing only one league match. And this season, the Denia native has changed her records with 9 goals and 4 assists in 2,182 minutes, having played all matches, also becoming her team's top scorer and the sixth highest scorer in the league. These numbers have earned her a spot as one of the four midfielders in the Liga F Moeve ‘Team Of The Season’ in EA SPORTS. A recognition she received from content creator Atiga Suleiman. “It's an honour. I'm very happy, but this is a team sport, and I wouldn't have achieved it without my teammates,” the player declares after receiving the award to the applause of her teammates.

Furthermore, the Denia native, who shares the midfield in the ‘Team Of The Season’ with Caroline Weir, Alexia Putellas, and Paula Fernández, is also an international with the Spanish National Team, with whom she has won the Nations League in 2024 and 2025. For Fiamma Benítez, this season “has been a rollercoaster year, but I would highlight the Champions League experience because it made us grow so much. Personally, the day against Bayern when I scored the equaliser. In general, I'll remember all the moments with my team and everything we've overcome together.” In addition to playing in the Champions League, where Atlético de Madrid fell to Manchester United in the round of sixteen, the midfielder was also a runner-up in the Copa de la Reina after losing to FC Barcelona by 3-1 in the final. A brilliant year to be one of the best players of the season.
