The Spanish league has its champion: FC Barcelona. The Blaugranas defeated RCD Espanyol 1-4 with goals from Martine Fenger, who was the MVP of the match, Carla Julià, and Graham Hansen, to secure the league title, their eleventh in history (2011/2012, 2012/2013, 2013/2014, 2014/2015, 2019/2020, 2020/2021, 2021/2022, 2022/2023, 2023/2024, 2024/2025, and 2025/2026), and seventh consecutively. Furthermore, this marks the second Liga F Moeve title since Pere Romeu took the helm as head coach for the Blaugrana. With four matchdays remaining, the Culé side sits in 1st position with 75 points, having achieved twenty-five victories and just one defeat, against Real Sociedad (1-0), in twenty-six league games.
In these matches, the Barcelona club has scored 116 goals, with twenty-one different scorers. They are also the team with the most goals scored in the championship, averaging 4.46 goals per match, and the one that has conceded the fewest, with 7 goals against, an average of 0.27 goals per game. Between Cata Coll and Gemma Font, who have shared minutes between the posts, they have kept 19 clean sheets this season. With four matchdays still to go, Claudia Pina leads the competition's top scorers chart with 17 goals, followed by fellow Blaugrana Ewa Pajor with 16 goals. Meanwhile, winger Graham Hansen is the player with the most assists this Liga F Moeve season, with 10 goal contributions.
The commitment to youth academy players has been key. Sydney Schertenleib, Clara Serrajordi, and Aïcha Camara, who were promoted to the first team in the summer, have become fundamental to Pere Romeu's tactics. Indeed, the Catalan coach has utilised seven players with academy contracts in the domestic competition: Adriana Ranera, Carla Juliá, Martine Fenger, Laia Martret, Ainoa Gómez, María Llorella, and Rosalía Domínguez. This league championship represents FC Barcelona's second title this season, after being crowned champions of the Supercopa de España in January, having beaten Real Madrid CF 2-0 in the final. The Azulgranas still have the Copa de la Reina final (16 May) against Atlético de Madrid, and the Champions League final, where they are already in the semi-finals.
