“I am convinced that the fans will give us their support. Part of our strength as a team is the fans and all the following we have. We will give everything on the pitch to achieve what we want,” stated Pere Romeu in the build-up to the Champions League final. FC Barcelona aims to win all possible titles this season. The first of the four trophies the Catalan team has won this season arrived in January, with a 2-0 victory against Real Madrid CF in the Spanish Super Cup final, their sixth title. In April, the Blaugranas secured the Liga F Moeve title after defeating RCD Espanyol 1-4 in the Catalan derby, their eleventh league title, and seventh consecutive. Finally, on May 16th, the Culé side beat Atlético de Madrid 3-1 in the Copa de la Reina final at the Gran Canaria stadium.

A cup title, the eleventh throughout their history, in front of 26,093 spectators, a record attendance in the knockout competition. The Blaugranas only have the UEFA Women's Champions League left to play. The Ullevaal Stadion in Oslo will host the grand event, where FC Barcelona will face Olympique Lyonnes on Saturday, May 23rd at 18:00. The match will be broadcast on La 1, RTVE Play, Disney+, and TV3. Both teams have met on six occasions, with five victories for the French side and only one win for the Blaugranas. Furthermore, to date, the Catalan team has accumulated 32 official titles (11 Leagues, 12 Copa de la Reina, 6 Spanish Super Cups, and 3 Champions Leagues), in addition to 11 Catalan Cups and 1 Generalitat Cup. A list of trophies that Pere Romeu's team will look to add to this weekend.

FC Barcelona, aiming to repeat a poker of titles

Indeed, the Blaugranas have only achieved the poker of titles once, in the 2023/2024 season. FC Barcelona won the four competitions they competed in during a perfect season. The first of those trophies arrived on January 20th, when the Culé side lifted the Spanish Super Cup after beating Levante UD 7-0 in the final. The Blaugrana team was crowned Liga F champions at the beginning of May. An unforgettable month where they finally sealed their poker of trophies. On May 18th, then managed by Jonatan Giráldez, they won the Copa de la Reina by thrashing Real Sociedad 8-0. The season's crowning achievement came in the UEFA Women's Champions League final after a 2-0 victory over Olympique Lyon at the San Mamés stadium, which was attended by 50,827 spectators to witness a historic feat.
